I was born, raised, and still live in Southern California. I'm a father of a precious 2 year old boy and the husband of a wonderful woman. Professionally, I have been a high school English teacher for 7 years and coach cross country and track at the same school. I am an avid reader, runner, and sports fan. I also have a degree in Business Marketing and am working on a Master's degree in Humanities with an emphasis on literature. I have been an avid distance runner since 1992. It has been a passion of mine since then and has taken me all over the country and the world. I have competed in college, raced internationally for the USA, and ran 7 marathons with a personal best of 2:30.15. I joined Associated Content to push myself to pursue another one of my passions, writing, and share some of my thoughts and ideas with others.
